I love the functionality of this net
Just what I thought it would be. Sturdy, fade and rust resistant, extension is great, small netting is great for smallest of small. I love it. Great for a small quick grab in deeper aquariums. Glad I purchased.I did look for THE perfect one for me on amazon prior to purchasing. So I hope this helps someone. I really like the size because it doesn’t knock around everything in my tanks if I need to capture a shrimp or smaller snail or fish like a white cloud minnow thy is really fast.My other net is really good even with an extension. But the net is not made of the same fine material. It’s not as small and it is not borders and sleek. I like this and am glad I followed the advise to have spent the money and have a second net available.Especially if you have a sick tank, shrimp, snails, smaller fish that are hard talk catchC a deeper tank, as it extends long, or jus to have a quality net on hand if you don’t have one.Hope this is helpful. I only come back and write because I spend my money on the best deal I find, based on what reviews, time I spend, reading, MUCH time... so hope you are helped.

As described
I'm using this product to skim our goats automatic waterer. Works as expected. Wish there was a longer version available but this is a good product.

SPACE SAVING TELESCOPING DESIGN
I have a pretty deep aquarium 36" and used to have the nets that had the standard handles, so I had to house two 24" skimmer nets and I always hated it. Saw these and decided to give them a try. Replaced my old blue nets for the black ones and never looked back. These are stainless handles with the black nets which look so much better than the braided blue of the old school nets. They telescope to 24" but collapse down to conserve space. If you have them extended and in the water, when you collapse them back down it forces all of the water out ensuring that water isn't sitting inside. Bought the 4" and 6" about a year ago and have had absolutely no issues with them. Would definitely buy again and would recommend.

Fish Net Scoop
The net itself seems fine, it is a bit less sturdy than I would have expected, but time will tell. The telescoping handle feature is helpful for storage/space in a drawer as is the ability to hang it if I choose.

Take on vacation with you!
These work great for catching crabs and fish at the beach. I have caught several in this net. Works like a charm!

Good product
Love the length of the sturdiness and this is just all around a good piece of equipment. I needed this long time ago, but it works great and it’s very easy to clean.

Whats with the little net.
The net size misleading. Why don't you just say for minnows. The size of the tank in your picture, shows a size for at least a 4 inch fish. The length of the handle was great, but I don't need to catch minnows.

Long and nimble
Not sure why Amazon's 3 criteria for the star rating on this net are "durability" "value for money" and "sturdiness." Kind of redundant but ok. I would not describe this net as sturdy and it doesn't strike me as particularly durable. But what it lacks in those departments it makes up for in convenience, length, and nimbleness. It telescopes like an old radio antenna to a good length and I can easily reach the bottom of my 65 gallon tall aquarium without getting wet. The hoop (rectangle) part of the net is on the small side, but its great for fish under 6 inches. I use mine for scooping out deceased feeder fish which its perfect for. The stem seems to be made of stainless steel so should last a good while.
