this item is incredibly cheaply made, the tiny latch that holds the battery lid on is a very thin piece of plastic that is supposed to hold the battery lid on. it broke off the very first attempt to put the lid back over the battery and i barely applied any pressure. pretty much a joke

The product worked decent but the chain broke within a day or two. That was disappointing. Now how am I supposed to attach it to my child?

Although this is promoted as a tool to keep track of a child or pet, but it is also works to keep tabs on an elderly person. My dad has Alzheimer's and tends to wander. This tracker alerts my mom if he strays too far from the house. My only critique is that it's signal has difficulty penetrating the cinder-block walls of their Florida home. This system offers a very affordable way to be alerted to a person with dementia who may be wandering.

Sometimes the alerts goes on, even within the range (very near). Probably due to reception interference.If the manufacturer could find a better radio frequency, this might be resolved...You cannot use it in the pocket or purse, because the alarm is not loud enough.Eventually, during my trip, I found it OFF (when should be ON), after alerts... I didn't understand if I had to set ir ON after beeps, or there was anything I did wrong.Still, it worked fine when I went with my daughter to Disney... we both felt much safer.

Horrible!!!! I sent this piece of junk back and purchased a Beluvv guardian bracelet.
