Hammock Straps Bundle with Iron Nickel Plated Spring Loaded Carabiners with Safety Locks and O-Rings, Spun Polyester, 10 Foot x 2 Inch Wide

I purchased these straps because i had recently purchased a hammock. I wanted a hammock that can hold my boyfriend and I together I spent a little extra on the hammock. Our hammock can hold up to 800 pounds!!! The straps are great DO NOT trust that nickel plated ring, it WILL break! The carabiners that come with the straps are also very strong and sturdy and will withstand heavy weights. I purchased the straps and the O ring broke on first use, luckily we were only about 6 inches from floor. We returned the straps and had a new set mailed...same thing. What we now have done is use carabiners we purchased at a hardware store and place them where the O rings go.The straps and carabiners are awesome, the O ring doesnt help with heavy weights

The straps are of great quality. You'd be hard pressed to break these things, IMHO. The straps are plenty long enough. The 2" width is great to protect the tree (and even required in some places from what I hear?) The included hardware is very strong. The company seems very open to customer service. I am happy with my purchase. I don't think the straps out there with many extra loops are as strong (although some have perfectly good reviews). If you have a whoopie sling(s), you don't need those extra loops and it's even easier to adjust, so I recommend adding Amsteel whoopie sling(s) to your purchase. You could also use a toggle, but I don't like using a toggle with straps, because I don't like to get creases in my straps (although it will hold just fine). My only comments are that the straps do bleed on fabrics when wet (but it washed out). Secondly, the carabiner's latch catches on the strap loops. Either leave them connected, file the edges, or use other strong hardware.

After 40 years of sleeping in, camping in, traveling with and practically living in hamacas, and tying them to trees in many kinds of forests, palapas on tropical beaches, and just about anything upright about 15' apart, I know something about how to hang a hammock. And these "seatbelts-cum-hammock hangers" are just great. If anything, they are overbuilt. I am confident that just one wrap around a very large tree (something like a redwood with a 6+ foot diameter comes to mind), these guys would hold even the heaviest of folk. Or a couple of us, like in my case. So, don't waste your time with the little strappy-thingers with cheap little D-rings or fancy do-hickies. Just buy these, go with confidence, and write them an adventure story.

Great hammock straps! Easy to set up. No damage to the tree, just carefree swingin bliss. Can't speak to the durability, but I'd expect them to last a long time based on materials and build quality. Will update if different.I was NOT reimbursed for my review as so many people on here are these days.I too was contacted by the maker 3-4 times in the first couple days asking for a review. They were very understanding when I told them I wanted to use the product first. If you can live with a couple extra emails, you'll get an awesome pair of hammock straps. Nothing wrong with that.

These Hammock straps are STRONG, very well made and I have to believe they can indeed hold the stated 2,204lbs strain. They come with 2 rather strong carabiners that of course must be as strong or stronger than the straps themselves. These are good carabiners and make hanging a hammock a very easy task. I highly recommend these to anyone...the straps and the carabiners are all you need for any hammock gear. I believe these straps/carabiners are strong enough to use as anchors for winching heavy loads out of mud or a ditch or whatever.

We use these to hang a bronco rider swing from a tree. It took a little adjusting to get it level, but it's working great! For us it's been a perfect alternative to a pricey playset. The true test will be how it withstands the outdoor weather.

Haven't used them in the wild yet, but have hung up a hammock to test and was very impressed! The material is solid and the construction is good and sturdy. They will not stretch overnight and leave you with your butt on the ground. I will update after my first hike in two weeks.

Absolutely the best hammock straps on the market! The straps are meant to last and include everything necessary to hang a hammock but the hammock itself. They are too pricey, but if you can afford them, this is the way to go!
