Works as advertised
Worked as instructions indicated. A #1 didn't work at first, so went to a #2 and worked first try. Would recommend.

Easy to use and work perfectly!
I accidentally stripped 2 screws on a cabinet I was putting together. I order this set having never tried or use these bits. It was really simple and worked perfectly for both screws the very first time! Excellent price and quality. I hope I don't ever need them again but if I do, I'm confident they will do the trick every time!

Perfectly mediocre
The price was right and it worked to remove the one stripped set-screw that I needed to. Is it durable? Can't say. Does it look well-made? Not really. Does it seem to work well enough? Yep.

TOTAL junk, don’t waste your time. Read on for details.
I review products that I feel strongly about. Love em or hate em, I take the time to share those experiences. I should have trusted all those other folks who took the time to do so on this item. It’s a flawed tool both in concept and execution. This is the cheaper, less well made version of an already dumb “as seen on TV” grade idea.Anyway suffice it to say that using these made a bad situation worse. They so inelegantly mangled what was left of a screw head as to render it a pile of smashed metal shavings even more deeply embedded in the substrate than it was before. There was no hope of extraction after trying this bit. Maybe, possibly, I could have done it before by slotting the head and using a careful application of a thick screwdriver. We’ll never know now. Even a hole boring saw won’t work now because there’s so much mushroomed out metal that the saw will undoubtedly hit it and go off target, splintering the wood I’m working with.Save your money and time. I barely even think this is worth the gas to return.

This just refused to catch the screw
I used according to the instructions and even watched a YouTube video before hand just fo be sure that I was doing it right but I ended up having to complete destroy the screw head by Grinding it down because it did not grab onto the screw

Nice addition to the toolbox
I had the original set when these first came out (forgot the brand), and somehow I lost it. I purchased this one from Amazon, because the price was decent and it looked the same as all the other extractors.I've used it a bit and it does exactly what it claims. It extracts broken bolts and stripped screws. A necessary tool in my toolbox!

Not for security screws
I used these to try and remove a tamper proof button-torx bit screw that stripped out; it didn’t work at all. The bit wouldn’t drill out the button. I switched to a titanium drill but to drill out, then tried the extractor bit with no result - it just spun around and around and did not remove the screw. Maybe it would have worked on a normal screw but totally ineffective on security screws.
