Kids loved it!
The media could not be loaded. Â Bought these a few days ago for my kids who are big Star Wars fans. Popped 3 batteries in each saber, turned down the lights and lets the games begin. Great sound effects, light modes, and can even attach at the base to form one large double-edged light saber. Note: batteries are not included. Ensure you have 3 AAA batteries ready for each saber.

UPDATE: They broke. A hit! Don't hesitate - buy it!
UPDATE: 3 mon. in. All four light sabers are now broken. My kids play with these about once a week, so overtime, they must have become unstable and are not all broken and unusable. I am hoping the company will replace the items because we do truly enjoy these.GREAT light sabers for a fraction of the price. This was our kids FAVORITE gift and is now our go-to present.Plus, there's technically two in each box, so your kiddo (or you!) can make a staff, or have a second sword for a friend. Or two swords for yourself! The sound and colors change when the sword "bonks" into anything. There is an option to turn off the sound! (extra yay!)The sword section telescopes in and and be stored back in the box (which was perfect for us since we were traveling with them in our suitcases through airport security. We have gotten A LOT of use out of these in the last 3 months and they are still in perfect condition. We had all of our Christmas presents sent via amazon to Hawaii where we were vacationing, and still received these in two days - Impressive!**be sure to order BATTERIES so you can play with them right away!

Great toy for the money, more affordable than Disney versions
We took our 5 year old to Disney for his first time. He loves Star Wars and the new star wars rides and did the junior Jedi training. There are several options for purchasing light sabers at the parks, but they are 1) light up but not collapsible (how are you going to pack that in your suitcase), 2) collapsible but not light up (whats the fun in that), and 3) the real expensive custom build ones (think build-a-bear for light sabers). I came back to the house we were renting and ordered these for delivery to the house in 2 days. They take 3 AAA batteries each and are pretty cool with sounds and color changing lights. You can bring them into the parks as well.

Use the force
This is the BEST thing I have ever purchased from Amazon. They change color on impact and make for hours of fun. May the force be with you.

Have no doubts
I ordered this for grandkids. I was worried about ordering a cheap toy for them as they are 5, 7, 9, and 11 and play rough. No worries We've lasted two days, many battled and all are still holding up. They've been dropped from the top of the stairs (an accident grandma really it was) hit over the head (no real harm done) and wacked many pieces of furniture. They love putting two together but it's quite long then and hits the ceiling fan. The noise can be a bit much but there is a no noise setting that wasn't used as much as grandma would have liked lol - Summer heat isn't getting us down saving the world here one light saber at a time!

First one broke within a couple hours, but we still had lots of fun
These were so fun, my kids loved the color changes and sound affect and that they are able to change the pattern or lights the way they wanted it. They did break one the first day, at the base of the hilt and the extendable saber part. But they still like it so much that I would consider getting another if it holds up like the first one did.

Kids like them better than the Star Wars ones.
I got this set for my daughter who wanted light sabers since her brother was getting some. she wanted the connecting ones. So far since Christmas these have had more use and have put on light saber laser shows for both kids. I am currently not sure where the two star wars ones I bought my son are. Considering how rough my kids can be no probs with durability. Only real complaint..batteries. Each light saber takes 3. Other than that, cool sound, they love that the lights change colors and that they can attach.
