Good chair at a fair price
For years, we used one of the two legged backpacking chair and the aren't too bad if you could find a rock or log to balance on or use as a ground chair flipped the wrong way, but a pain to balance on after awhile, so we decided to look into newer 4 legged backpacking chairs and there are many brands to choose from, but it came down to reviews and cost balance. I figured it couldn't hurt to try them since we could return them if we decided. However, we are happy with the chairs. See our pros and cons below. Thanks.1. fairly sturdy materials.2. fairly comfortable, especially after you break it in some3. easy setup, especially if you have used this type chair before (not it does require a little strength and a good angle for leverage.)4. Stays together nicely5. Fairly stable for the type of chair it is (don't fall into the chair, it is not your recliner, know its a camping/backpacking type chair)6. packs decent7. OK weight. Could be better w/ minor changes8. Price for two pack is good compared to many companiesCons:1. It could be lighter or offer a lighter version. The Polyester and nylon are thick. Good for portly folks, but it ads weight. I'd like one made with a softer and lighter nylon like my original two legs chair. the old one still does 250, but conforms to your body better without pressure points2. Gets better with use, but initial the thicker materials make for a more rigid seats. It's hard to explain unless you've used this type off chair before, but it is rather taut.3. Not really a negative, just something to note about backpacking chairs. They cannot be treated like your recliner at home. You can't expect them to be perfectly rigid and allow you to fall into them and be careless. This chair is sturdy and strong, but remember, it's meant to be a lightweight outdoor chair that is easily transportable.4. If you are not as familiar with this type of chair, it may take you a bit to put together, but after you do it, it should be easy, but does require a little strength and leverage.5. Pockets are almost useless. They have an odd angle so your bottle hits you in the elbows and if you put a can in them, it would pour out on you. I don't care so much and am planning on cutting the pockets of to save weight. They should have made the pockets perpendicular and not leaning towards the horizon. Again, I don't mine too much and plan to eliminate them for less weight.I do recommend this chair for lightweight, easy transporting, good sturdiness for it's class and price.Backpackers: Weight saving idea- don't use the carrying case and cut off pockets (mostly useless).

Great pair of chairs
These super lightweight and easy to construct and de-construct chairs are fabulous. I've used them 3 times so far on three different surfaces.1) Great on sturdy grass!2) They are very good on sand, but they do sink in a bit and if you lean too far you'll sink and tip over. If you set them on the edge of your beach cover- this is less of an issue.3) Not great on a rocky sloped shoreline. Still better than sitting on rocks, but tippy and had to use our legs to dug in to keep them from taking us too far forward. They are so lightweight- I have them in my car and can pull them out and pop them together in a couple of minutes.note: they are so lightweight that if you are not sitting in them, they will blow over in a light wind and blow quite a distance in a heavy one. These are very affordable and I recommend them if you are getting to the age- that sitting on the ground for long periods of time, is no longer a comfortable option.

This chair is Work
Imma be real here. This chair is a little more work than I anticipated to put together. When you take it out of the bag, it feels like just a bunch of sticks connected by elastics. You have to fit the tubing into the plastic connectors and then you have to stretch the seat over the sticks. It’s one of those things where if you’re going camping and the chair is going to be out for a few days it’s totally worth putting together, but if you’re just gonna be at the park for like 45 minutes you really got to think about whether you want to look ridiculous assembling all this tubing just to take it apart again. This seat is mostly comfortable, and a little bit wobbly. Would not recommend it for an overweight person. The size factor is great though.

Internal cord broke
I like these chairs, especially for the price, but the internal cord that makes them assemble so much easier broke on either the second or third use. The chair still works fine, it's just a little tougher to assemble. Once the chair is together, the seat cloth keeps the side from separating, so it's just as sturdy as it ever was.I also think that they'd be a bit more comfortable with a higher back to you don't end up leaned back but holding your head up forever. I ordered a different chair with that feature, and it's a lot more comfortable when sitting for long periods, but it's also bigger to carry around (especially since they added an annoying pillow that doesn't compress well.

Perfect size for storing
I bought for extra chairs in the closet of our RV. I also used it at a ball game recently! It's nice to have a chair you can put in your trunk and not take up any room. Putting them together is challenging though! But I've done it 4 or 5 times now, starting to get easier. The first time took me about 20 minutes, I thought I was going to break it. There's very little " flexibility" at that first assembly attempt. Now it takes me about 5 minutes. The pole part is easy. For the material though, I found if I put the back on first then work on the seat, that's a little easier.

OK for what they are
I thought these would be good to throw in our backpacks for long hikes where we’d be out the whole day. I haven’t gotten to use them for their intended purpose yet, but I did try them out at home. For a lightweight folding camping chair, you can’t really expect too much, but I have initial impressions. I like that they are light and fold up small. The frame of the chair is much easier to assemble than I expected. It’s essentially one piece that snaps into place automatically when you unfold it. The cloth seat fits extremely tightly over the frame, and requires a great deal of upper body strength to get it on the frame. Once assembled, I did sit on the chair. It was fairly comfortable, but it felt a little small and rickety. I weigh nearly 200 lbs., and I’d say I’m at the max of this chair’s weight threshold. The good thing is that the chair is pretty low to the ground, so if it does give out on me, I won’t fall that far. Haha!

We compared these to our helinox chair zero…
We bought these for a family camping trip and to have a set of four, having two of the much higher brand name helinox chair zero. They weight more, but are far more comfortable but for one exception: the clear mesh dogs into your legs after extended periods.Besides this, I have these positives to say:1) much bigger bucket seat than the higher brand name2) very rugged and durable material, our higher brand ones ripped since they didn’t have the pull tabs that these do3) much sturdier feet with ball ends, less falling backwards if you’re on unbalanced ground.4) way easier to pack, in such a convenient case that is much easier than the higher end stuff sack that the chair zero comes in5) amazing that it attaches as a storage pouch when assembled, such a handy feature.Overall, i prefer these over the helinox line when it comes to trips like the beach, car camping or sports events and fireworks displays. And for the price, they are a must have for a go bag for adventurous couples or a small spare set in the car.Absolutely recommend.
