My fancy RT1000 router table, hand made in Canada, came with a simple light switch to power the router. Replaced it with this switch, which has the look and feel of industrial quality. Now I feel like I'm running with the big dogs.

The buttons have a nice dust cover and make a good chunk/chunk sound when turning on/off. There are 3 screw terminals on each side, but the box is smaller than your normal electrical box, so I was unable to use the ring connectors on my wires. I had to remove the connectors and just clamp the wires in the terminal. No strain relief built in, but a zip tie worked. I added a Potentiometer to the box as well, making it even tighter.

I purchased this switch to control the power from the circuit breaker to the VFD to run my lathe. The buttons work and that's the end of it. Could not wire it, needs less than 14ga wire to fit in the cramped space and good luck in getting the wires bent to fit the screwfasteners. After fighting to get it wired up I put it all together, only to discover that the swirch doesn't work. Would probably do all right with 16ga wire. I'm back to turning the circuit break on and off.
