Went to go use my GoPro on a tripod and was confused as to why there wasn't any way to attach it as I assumed that all cameras were universal in having that little screw connection on the bottom of the camera. Since it didn't have it on the camera or as an attachment, I did a quick search and found this item. It's use is pretty simple and merges the standard tripod connection with the swiveling prong used for the GoPro.I gave this product 4 stars because I think that this product is slightly over priced especially since the same adapter is often included in other bundles for free (an option I would've gone with if I hadn't already bought one). Other than that though, the piece is solid plastic with the metal screw connection for the tripod and seems like it will stay put even if it took a knock.

These brackets are tough and sturdy. They come with all the hardware needed and will last you a long time. The threads matched the screws and I had not problem using the hardware from other similar adapters.

Feel pretty cheap BUT they get the job done. I wouldn't mount my big go pro on this item but my cheaper HERO HD i will.

These are plastic and they have a tendency to break. Glad they are affordable and disposable.

The items were shipped and received quickly and everything works just as designed.

Works great. GoPro does not include a tripod mount as a standard accessory, so this really fills a need.
