The BluRay player works well and is easy to use. It takes both DVDs and BluRay disks.

Bought this Sony DVD Blue Ray player months ago. It works wonderfully! This is a replacement for the exact same Blue Ray DVD player, which only broke down because I got lazy and didn't clean the machine regularly-- even so it lasted years in perfect playing condition until it broke down (again, my bad). So I highly recommend this product, you won't be sorry. Thank you Sony and thank you Amazon for carrying such good products at a reasonable price- for shipping this machine so carefully wrapped and delivered on time.

Nice basic blu-ray player. I needed a replacement for my 5-disc DVD changer which died recently. Mostly I am happy with it....I didn't really believe the "smart" features would work..so I didn't buy with the intention of using them. The "standard" dvd mode video output "flips" a lot and it very annoying. The blu ray playback is stable. The YT app won't open. The "device" usb port will not read my fat32 formatted usb stick. There are several drawbacks. Not sure if the "standard" mode video distortion is my problem or the unit. Blu Ray playback works! And that is the main thing that matters for my purchase.

Smart device - we love how it turns iself off when not used for a while. Our last DVD player burnt out because we forgot to turn it off... Great picture and Remote Control too!
