Armarkat Bolstered Pet Bed and Mat, ultra-soft Dog Bed for dogs

I purchased this for one of my Boston Terriers and she watched me put it together, afterward...jumping right in! I found her lying belly up, legs in the air, snoring about a half-hour later; I guess she doesn't like it, huh?!?! I have ordered another for my other Boston that usually doesn't like beds; I did that after I found her sniffing around trying to rouse her sister out of her slumber only to put hersefl in it when she did! This is such a FANTASTIC CONCEPT for a dog bed as I have always dreaded wash day for the dog beds...they inevitably get lumpy and the seams tear even on a low washer setting because you have to put the whole bed in the washer! NOT THIS ONE...it comes with a great pad that is removable from the dog bed, then you can unzip it and take out the padding (like a pillowcase), the "walls" also have one complete zipper on the base of the bed allowing you to pull out the padding in all four areas...allowing you to just throw the material and not any of the padding into the washer! Also, I cannot say enough about the beautiful material this bed is made of...I'd love to have a comforter set for my own bed with this material...it is really exquisite and excellent quality...LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I will never go back to those cheap $10-15 store-bought dog beds...Armarkat has a customer for the life of my dogs! Thank you!

I bought this lovely bed for my 6-pound Chihuahua and 5-pound Yorkie to share. It is a great size and has room for more little dogs! ;) This is extremely well made. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble, it fills out all puffy and nice. I like how we can take it apart to wash it. My Yorkie is 19+ years old, very frail, blind and deaf, and sleeps all the time. I adopted her 7 years ago and the bed I bought her then recently gave up. It was a good design and since it lasted so long I wanted to find another bed with a similar design. So I ordered this one hoping she can live her final years in luxury. The moment I had it assembled, I placed her in it, and she went fast asleep. With her old bed she was constantly moving around as if she could never get comfortable. I am so glad she likes it! The bed material is very soft, I bet she is enjoying that! The colors are true to what I saw on Amazon, so it looks great in our house. I like this bed so much I am going to order another one for my daughter's dog!September 21, 2015Update: This bed has been washed numerous times and is still going strong and looking fabulous. The cushions inside easily remove before washing and are easy to put back in after. Also, I failed to mention in my review above that one side of the bed insert is waterproof. That was something big to leave out. Sorry about that!December 21, 2016Update: I had to buy another one, because my newly adopted dogs destroyed my last one. The new one is different than what I ordered, but equally beautiful, or I would have returned it.

I order the 43” for my 64 lb Greyhound. It’s not as cushiony as I would have like but greyhounds don’t have a lot of fat so they need cushion. I’ll probably add a pillow. It doesn’t have any directions but I’ll tell you how mine went together:Two arched pieces go in the front where the tag is.Two long pieces go on either sideTwo short pieces go in the backI unzipped the whole thing and put in each piece as I zipped it back up which made it slightly easier.

What the heck? big let down. Came with assembly required, no instructions, and padded pieces that don't fit, plastic zipper that is not going to last. the only good thing about it, is my dog doesn't know what a messed up bed he got for his birthday.

I expected this to be much smaller than it was. I got the 18-Inch light blue and navy bed for my Siamese cat. He's about 8-10 pounds and has PLENTY of room! The bed came in pieces, which surprised me since I'd read other reviews stating that their beds were vacuum packed and sprung into shape. What you can't see in the photo is a very clever (but somewhat sticky and worrisome) zipper that runs along the bottom of the bed. The walls for the bed are four separate pillow fillers, that you slide in on your own. The middle part of the bed is another pillow that you slide into a removable piece. For a cat owner, this is great, as all the parts are easily removed so the bed can be washed. I can imagine a dog tossing around the center pillow, however.The filling for the pillows reads that it's water-proof, so they can apparently be washed as well. It makes a slight crinkling sound, which is good, as my cat really likes paper and crinkly sounds. The bottom of the bed is a harder plastic, with tiny nubs for traction. The bed is reversible, but the light blue is fuzzy and soft, while the navy is more like a nice canvas.The first day, he mostly ignored the bed; to the point of laying in his old bed (a cardboard box that is on its way out) even though this new bed was closer to his beloved heater. On the second day, I sprinkled some catnip on the bed while the heater was warming up and he hopped in with some encouragement. He's been laying in there all morning now!I'm very pleased with the size, shape, feel, construction, and quality of this bed. The only thing that makes me nervous is the zipper along the bottom, which tended to get a bit stuck and doesn't seem like it will last through many uses. I didn't realize until it shipped that this bed is from Armarkat. I have one of their cat trees that I bought directly from them, and it's gorgeous and super high quality. I love this company, and the high quality products that they have. I'm very glad to have (accidentally) purchased from them again.The bed arrived packaged securely, about two days after I ordered it. Will certainly stick with this company and order again!

When the bed arrived unassembled, I had my doubts. However, this may be the best pet bed I have ever owned (I currently have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and I sometimes foster so that's a lot of beds). The sides are high and firm, the materials and construction are great quality. I like that the bed disassembles for washing. I will likely buy some extras to have on hand because I could not walk into petsmart and buy a bed I liked nearly as much, at any price.
