Hi, Thanks for your question reference painting on the bitumen sheeting. Unfortunately the answer is NO, due to the bitumen element and the elasticity of the product. Sorry if this causes you a problem. Many Thanks Alliance Remedial Supplies

As though already its self adhesive but for extra protection can I use bitumen adhesive to stick it on wall?

Hi, Thanks for your question, what you do to improve adhesion, is to apply a bitumen primer to the surface, allow to dry and then apply. Regards Alliance Remedial Supplies

If walls are already painted with bitumen paint, is the primer still needed?

Hi, Thanks for your question. If the walls are already coated with a bitumen paint, then you will not need the primer. Hoping this helps Regards Alliance Remedial Supplies

Can I use this to rain-proof external walls?

Yes you may need soon gentle heat to make it stick ,surface needs to be very clean
