Q: The drill tool has stopped working within the first 10 uses. Batteries have been changed, and there are no noticeable loose components. Suggestions??

Ours stopped on our first one early on, which we exchanged and got a replacement. The second one worked for a few months and then did the same thing. We threw it away!

Q: The screws on the battery pack are way too tight to get unscrewed to insert batteries. Any suggestions?

I think that the screw is a #00, so I would put a #00 bit with a 1/4 inch shank, into a quarter inch socket, that should provide more than adequate leverage. I have not had this specific problem with this product, but in other situations where the screws ssemed to be siezed, I have cut through the tabs, then used some gaffers tape over the cover and screws to hold the cover down.
