Straps get stuck

The bindings were easy to install and worked great for 2 days of snowboarding. On the third day my son couldn’t dislodge the front strap, it was stuck. I tried helping and every run we took we had to work on it for 5 minutes before it would come free. There was nothing blocking it, the front latch doesn’t release allowing for the strap to come lose. Needless to say these bindings ruined our day on the slopes. I guess these are the bindings where you permanently leave your boot attached and just pull out your foot after every run.
