Q: it says foldable. its not obvious to me how? how much space does it take up when folded?

It is vey easy to fold,all the sticks can take out from the white tee. So all of that can put in a box(size is: 27x6x3.5 inch) when folded

Q: What is used to keep the raw pole edges from scratching hardwood floors?

There isn't anything. The manufacturer should have provided plastic caps for the poles. Unfortunately, there are several design flaws with this product.

Q: Do the rubber foot protectors stay on even when stacked?

The foot protectors will stay but your problems will be with the feet themselves staying put, more so when the rack is on the carpeted floor. The feet are attached to the rack with weak plastic joints that tend to break when the rack is being moved.

Q: Bought this nov 17. still old t's that most are cracked, too heavy to stack. can i buy new stronger t's?
