It truly is as good as new
It truly is as good as new. As a TV for an extra bedroom, you can't beat the price! The only thing is its age. The newer TV's have more options as far as plugs on the back go. Other than this little problem, it's a good deal.

I would highly recommend not buying this television because of poor customer service
I purchased this television in December of 2014. In the past month the picture is gone and only the audio works. I contacted customer service and they claimed that they would honor the warranty but I would need to send a copy of the Amazon invoice. I sent the necessary paperwork and I have not heard from LG customer service since. There were no return emails or phone calls. I would highly recommend not buying this television because of poor customer service. According to talk forums and reviews, this seems to be an inherent problem.
