The TV Fake Book: A Collection of 200 Hit Songs and Themes, 2nd Edition Plastic Comb – January 1, 1995

The index shown in the version on the Amazon web site is not accurate. One of the reasons I bought this book was for the Dallas theme, which is in the index on their web site, but I was very disappointed to see that it is not in the edition that they sent me. I never was a big television watcher. Between that fact, and the fact that there is a lot of duplication between music books on Amazon that are mainly from the same publisher (Hal Leonard), there aren't that many songs in this book that I will really be interested in. I may send it back. It does have a lot of other good songs in it, just not all of what I expected based on the information on the web site.

I play violin and other stringed instruments, so these melody lines with chords were perfect for me and I'd have never thought of so many to remember. The arrangements are very good and not lame like some I've seen.

Nice little book of familiar themes of yesteryear (not many current songs), but a favorite of mine! Being a below average piano player I like them simple, and this is it!

Has a lot of my favorite TV Themes that aren't in other books.

Plenty of fun and familiar songs.Melody Ines and chords,easy on the eyes and with spiral binding,easy to turn pages,and the book stays open at any selection chosen.Priced right!

Interesting chords - not for beginners with every song on 1 page or 2 with never a need to turn a page. Has the plastic binder every music book should have. Includes the theme from the "Our Gang" (Little Rascals) which for some reason is hard to get.

Lots of fun! Brings back memories..

Doing thematic shows makes for a fun time looking for the obscure and interesting...TV is one of the most fertile of grounds...1000's of themes can make for a roaring good show! Thanks Amazon...Dr. Abby
