Something so simple, yet it works so well
Not much to say, other than I keep these on my desk and use them for a few minutes a day. They have really helped with elbow/forearm pain.

Essential for computer workers
I got carpal tunnel / RSI (Repetitive stress injury) in my wrists and hands from typing and using the mouse for long periods of time at work. Especially clicking the mouse too much and bending my wrist left and right.I started dreading sitting down to work again and had to take time off and make drastic changes. I got an ergonomic keyboard and mouse along with these exercise bands and have not had any pain since I recovered, and am able to sit for longer periods of time (up to 1.5 hour) with no strain.Using these bands have strengthened my extensor and forearms muscles significantly and allow me to work with a clear mind knowing that I have the muscles and pliability to not get injured again. The key was understanding that your hand actually starts at your shoulder regarding the muscles that extend from the shoulder to your fingertips. There are so many key ligaments (bone to bone) and tendons (bone to muscle) that can get easily injured without proper care.I recommend searching on google for "extensor muscles" to see how the muscles are linked and really put in your mind why it's essential to increase your arm and hand pliability through exercise and stretching, which these bands do perfectly!

Expensive but Good Quality and Easy to Use
This is a great complement to the Captain of Crush grippers as it works the opposite muscles in the hand. The bands are easy to use and provide a good range of resistances. The strongest is quite difficult for me, and I am accustomed to using the Captains of Crush 1 (140 lbs.), while my elderly parents enjoy using the lowest and second-lowest. The bands seem to be quite durable, so hoping that delivers value to justify the high price for what are essentially fancy rubber bands.

Great for finger extension training
These are the best items I have found to train finger extension movements. It is important to train extension along with the flexion movements that are much more common for gripping items when you are working out to avoid muscle imbalances that would lead to tendonitis. As far as the bands go, placing them just below my fingernails and extending my fingers is intuitive and not difficult to set up. When I started with these even the skinniest, lightest bands proved a challenge despite my grip being quite strong. I can see a long road ahead of me to work up to the thickest bands.

A reasonably priced product to increase finger & hand strength. A simple design. Easy to use! I complete the exercises in a few minutes. I keep a set of these bands in the family room & in my car.

Awesome.
I have been using these while using the captain of crush hand gripper. My raw dead lift has gone from 365 to 505 in the past 4 months. Now I can dead lift 605 with straps, but I am getting away from straps and these are a huge help. I keep them in my truck and use them for a few minutes each day. My tip is get into a routine, do 10 with each and, then switch to a gripper and do 10 for each hand. I then go up a band and do the same. On the fourth set I do holds, I try for 10 seconds for a few of 5. Also once I am exhausted on a larger band, I drop to the white or green and burn out.If you are looking to build a great grip I recommend getting these, the captain of crush gripper (size T,1, and 2), and a set of fat grips. Use the gripper and bands 5 days a week, and work the fat grips into several of you pulling exercises (shrugs, curls, rows, later pull down, pull ups, ect.) Work them all together and you will see huge gains and no longer need to rely on straps.

Very Disappointed
I have purchased these several times since breaking my wrist in 2005 and they are a great help for rehab and helping with tendinitis. I can’t speak to the reliability of the heavier bands as I have never gotten that strong, I don’t think most people get to that level either.I received this batch a week or so ago and have only used them 3 or 4 times and one of the lightest ones broke, these and the next level are the only ones that break. I don’t think I have to explain why but they should not break that easily.Perhaps selling the bands in different sets, light/rehab and heavy/strength along with better QC would be an improvement. I hope something improves because these are the most convenient to use short of using rubber bands.Thank you,Richard Moniz
