I’m certain that I’ve paid much more for comparable headlamps this bright. The housing is durable and doesn’t feel cheap. These were such an awesome find that I have since bought another set and intend to buy another. Inexpensive enough to leave in each car, my office and have around the house when the next tree falls and kills the power, or the kids take the dog for a walk at night.Haven’t measured how long batteries last but I can say we’ve been camping twice in the last month, kids have them on all night and I haven’t changed the batteries. If I had to guess I’d say easily been used 15 hrs and still running on 3 AAA.The band is soft and very adjustable from child to adult.There is both red and white light. Let me say “ I don’t like the dark”. That being said The white light is very bright and blinding if you look directly at it. I feel comfortable and secure in my surroundings in the darkest dark while camping! The red light is more of a safety light, gets lots of attention And seen from far off but does not cast a beam very far. It is ample enough to search around in a dark car or tent and not disturb anyone greatly.Hope this helps. In the end it is a great headlamp and I highly recommend for the quality and price for 2. Promise you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered this head light to mainly use while going into the dark and shallow crawl space under my two houses. Most of the times, I have to move about on all fours and do a low crawl like when I was in military training. I don’t have to deal with handling a handheld flashlight and it frees up my two hands for other things. It puts out a good bright light with 3 brightness settings. It’s lite weight and comfortably to wear, and you can adjust the vertical angle to suit your field of vision. I found it’s useful and handy to grab to put light on home work projects where I need to see better. For me, the purchased on a lighting deal was a good buy for two units. I use re-chargeable AAA batteries to power the device and battery life is good. The control buttons are a bit tiny for my use but definitely manageable. I think these would do well for outdoor activities (biking, hiking, etc.) when low-light is an issue.

not as bright as I would have hoped, and the blinking is sometimes skips. But I like and and have used it under the house.

Good quality!! Definitely proof! Went diving in shallow waters at night, the next day it still worked while my friend had is $200+ Milwaukee headlight in rice! Haha! Beats the price, only unnecessary thing is the green and red flashing light settings. The flood light is strong each setting works well. Definitely a must buy but only CON it is battery operated

This light is bright, light, and comfortable. The strap adjusts well, and I like that there are different light settings. Great for hiking and camping.
