A review sample was provided at a discounted price for the testing and evaluation of the product, and writing and posting a review. Our daughter *loves* her giraffe blanket. We got it as something to wrap up in after bathing or swimming, but she loves it so much that she brings it to bed and puts it back on when she first wakes up in the morning. It's something she can "dress" with by herself. It's a super soft blanket, with a slightly longer and thicker pile on the outside than on the inside. So both are very soft and comfortable. The inside is slightly more absorbent, I think, in terms of drying off. The fabric for the giraffe face is doubled, and there is a little padding in the nose, which she often uses as a little pillow. The blanket is a little larger than I had thought it would be. The hood is about 12 inches wide at its base, narrowing further up, and is about 9 inches tall. The width of the blanket itself is about 34 inches, and it is about 32 inches tall -- or 41 with the hood included.
