I got this one because I liked the fact that it has a head strap in addition to the neck strap. After reading reviews of other masks (all that have the openings for the ears and the strap that goes over the top of the ear) and hearing that some people found those uncomfortable, I thought this one would be better designed. Well the head strap is good, and the fit is very good, but the mesh material the mask is made out of is very irritating to my face. I wore it for just a few minutes and it was hurting the skin on my nose and cheeks and when I took it off those areas were very red.I purchased a different mask that is made out of the neoprene type material, and it is much more comfortable. The ear straps are a bit annoying, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. These types of masks still beat putting on the cheap paper masks with the rubber band straps, and are easier to throw on than a serious mask with the big filters.After getting a different mask, I could tell in comparison that the rubber flappers on this one are thinner and are unlikely to work well. These flappers are supposed to only allow airflow out, and block the valve when you inhale, so everything you breath in has to travel through the filter. The ones on this one are thin and don't perfectly block the valve, which basically makes it useless.

We are doing lots of reno projects around our home. The most recent was replacing our carpet with hard wood. We had to fo lots of cutting and sanding, not to mention, ripping the carpet up, the pad and cleaning the subfloor before lying down the hardwood. Pulling that carpet and pad out kicks up a lot of dust, as does cleaning off the subfloor, and putting down killz over the sub. For someone who already suffers from allergies and sensitivity to dust, this can wreak havoc on you. Both my husband and I used this mask in hopes of avoiding the mother of all allergy attacks. It really did the trick! It saved us from ingesting all that crap and the dust flying around. It fits nicely, without making you feel like you are being suffocated. There are filters that cover the opening in the mask to protect you from the debris. I am really glad that we found this product, and that we were able to put it to good use. We have lots of projects waiting for us, and have confidence in this mask lasting for the duration. It is very well made and durable, and I have no worries about it falling apart. Great product! If you have projects waiting for you, this is a great purchase.

I operate a horse boarding facility at my residence in the Arizona desert. It's a 4 acre property accessible by a long dirt road. With boarders coming/going all day, horses running, jumping, rolling on the ground, and other adorable horsey stuff... Plus 40 stalls getting cleaned and raked daily... The dust/dirt here is CRAZY!!So I decided to invest a whopping $3.99 for my health lol. I considered the much pricier masks but thought I'd give these a try first.I was actually blown away by this comfortable, great fitting, and effective mask! I'm usually outside working with the horses without a mask because the disposable type are so uncomfortable and annoying.This mask feels great on my face and doesn't require constant adjustments like the disposables. I really like that the head strap is removable. I didn't like the way it felt and the mask seems like it will work fine without it - I haven't tested it outside while working yet but if the fit is affected, I'll just put the straps back on.This was a fantastic bargain! I'm 200% satisfied and will be buying several more for my boarders and anyone else interested!

This summer seems to be the summer of projects. My husband has a list as long as his arm of things he wants to accomplish.Many of these items involve sanding down wood to restain our deck and swing set. Being cautious, we wanted to make sure we didn’t inhale any of the particles that float around while the sander is going. This Dustproof Mask was the solution! It fit us both comfortably and still allowed us to breathe normally. I personally didn’t feel like it made it super warm and uncomfortable like some masks do. That’s a huge win!We would definitely recommend it if you’re in need of a good ventilated mask.

I used disposable masks before when cleaning, because my allergies really flare up. They slightly helped and were itchy and uncomfortable. With this mask I haven't had any of those issues. I was able to clean, sand, among other things without any irritation. The strap is Velcro, making it easier to adjust and it fits very comfortably. The mask is durable and if I need to replace anything it is just the insert, but for the price, durability and comfort it's better than the cheaper disposable ones.

I began to refinish a dresser. At first, without the mask. I realized that I could buy a mask that would cover my face better than throw away ones in the store. It made my sanding and stripping much easier. I could breathe much easier with the mask on. I will be adding this to my wish list so that I can purchase again if need be!

The strap around the head is a bit tight, even on the loosest fit, but you can always put it at a lower position and it's fine. Overall, it works just like a similar product I bought from the same company previously (same thing but without the second top strap).I've been using it while the outbreak is going on, and also when I'm sick. It doesn't do much to block general odors, but really does help with the dust and with the smell from solvents when I'm working with them.

I really found this Helpful. We just moved into a new house and had a lot of projects needing done - sanding and painting things, cleaning lots of dust, paint, etc. I like that I don’t feel as environmentally unfriendly (using disposables) and get a great fit too. And definitely works because I’m not coughing and sneezing!
