I do not know why sewing kit like this costs much more in local stores. Anyway, I am happy I found this on Amazon and saved some money. I liked that sewing kit includes lots of supplies and its compact, so I can take it while traveling. (seems weird but I often loose my buttons during my holidays. It becomes really annoying when I can wear my favorite jacket just because of missing button). I think this kit is a good value for money so would recommend.

The items inside are great for travel or on the go. Everything you need! But The box itself is very cheap. I have to fiddle with the tap to get it to close properly. And the interior tray has to be set straight down without being off even by millimeters to fit properly. And Even sometimes I still have issues.

Good, comprehensive sewing kit. Includes wide variety of thread colors, needles, seam ripper, etc. -- you can see from the description. I couldn't figure out how to make the scissors work, but wasn't really expecting good scissors from a sewing kit this reasonably priced. One thing I could have used that wasn't included was a needle threader. Quite happy with this purchase.

I was very disappointed, I really thought it was bigger and the items in the kit were not of the best quality. I don't feel that I got my money's worth and the only reason I didn't send it back is because its just one more thing I have to do.

Smaller than I thought, so take heed to the "travel sewing kit" description. Fun colors of thread are included. I still need a better storage solution but this is something I could definitely bring along if I needed to.

This is a very nice sewing kit. Fantastic as a travel kit for those little catastrophes on the road. It would also make the perfect starter sewing kit for any young person who likes to sew or wants to learn. I would have said girls, but I have a son who loves to do cross stitch and therefore I think it would make a nice starter kit for either girls or boys.

Although they were mentioned in the description, there were no buttons in this kit at all. I believe it's still an ok price for the set but the little travel scissors are so flimsy (or maybe broken?) they aren't usable and I had to buy buttons to include with the kit. I would not buy this again.

Smaller than I anticipated but that was perfect. Super compact and stores easily. Great mini sewing kit that can easily fit into my luggage and bring it along when I travel around. Great selection of sewing tools inside and the box is really good quality. Great buy.
