Sight Words - Flash Cards: 100 Key Words to Learn by Sight, with Learning Tips

I love the cover art on these flashcards, so I ordered them happily. However, while I know my kindergarten student will benefit from the working on her sight words, she will not get to enjoy any cute art in the process. The cards are simply flashcards with sight words clearly printed on them, but no art. I guess I had the impression that the darling art on the packaging would also be featured on the cards themselves. Not so.

I bought these cards hoping for a deck of cute pictures by the artist but the only pictures are on the box.

Pictures on the back let children check their answers. Colorful and quality cards.

As a special education teacher I give this to my intervention students so their parents can work with them at home.

Bought for whole kindergarten class. They loved it.

Would definitely not buy these again. They are in no way illustrated . I am disappointed as I thought the flash cards would be in someway decorated with little Alain Gree motifs but no they are absolutely plain. The cards are made of good card but they certainly do not contain delightful illustrations

Very disappointing to discover that "double-sided" in the product description meant that there was a sight word on each side of the card. This is useless for drills, since a pre-literate or early reader will be confused when drilling a partner. My daughter holds up the card for her brother to read; he says the word he sees, but she is looking at a different word, and says he's wrong. It's just too confusing for drills, which was the purpose for which I bought them.
