Works but...
There are better quality leash strings available. This will work fine in small to medium surf. But i wouldn't trust it in anything over 8' and consistent. Seems like it would break with that much preassure.

Always need to have on hand
My son was heading out on a surf trip and didn’t have any extra leash ties on hand. We’ve learned keeping a few with his surf gear always comes in handy and the multi pack was great. Our local shops were closed where we’ve gone in the past to pick some up and these were priced well for the multi pack, delivered quickly and are a quality leash tie.
