Works like a charm.
I've owned a few of these things over the years, and I have to say that they have continued updating and upgrading this product over the years. It's the sort of thing that if you use it a lot, like I do for weddings, and you're not super careful with it (sort of an awkward shape and size after all), it's going to probably need replacing every year or so. Or maybe I'm just particularly careless with how I store it in the outer pocket of my rolling bag... In any case, the convenience of how I use it is worth having to replace it every year, so I can't complain. Works a treat for shooting details at a wedding reception and having nice soft light (need to strap it to a little video light) - you usually don't have a ton of time and this helps get the job done quickly without sacrificing quality. It looks a little funny blowing up a light modifier, but you can't argue with the results. :)

Great Performance. Lives up to the Hype.
I ordered this Airbox Kit to pair up with a TorchLED 220, an intense light source. Testing the unit in a dark room with white walls to judge the light's quality and throw, I noticed a significant improvement when using the AirBox.Every claim that Airbox makes in their videos was put to the test and every claim proved to be true. Very impressed with that! The throw was diffused, wide, and significantly softer. The Torch's multi-shadow cast caused by its multiple LEDs merged into one softly defined shadow. Beautiful.Needing the light for both stills and video, I tried out the Egg Crate. Light spill was well contained. While not as defined as a barn door or flag, the performance was quite efficient.Taking the Airbox out of the studio and on location, I loved its near weightless compact style. It was convenient to use and installed in 15 seconds... That's right, 15 SECONDS! I initially had a concern about the durability of the unit's straps, but Airbox assured me that they were tested and strong. I had no problems on location and really loved using it. Very cool accessory.
