Wave by Genki Instruments | Wireless MIDI Controller

I had an issue with my Wave Ring, and was contacted by Genki to resolve the issue. They not only resolved my issue, but they also went out of their way to collect data on the issue to make upgrades to their product. I was thoroughly impressed by Genki's dedication to both their customers and their product!

This is an overpriced glorified three buttons mouse that attaches to your finger... I will only comment on the three button since the MIDI controller is not relevant to my work... The buttons are customizable (limited customization) and does not allow you to set many of the functions you could set with any other mouse...I ended up returning this and getting a regular handheld mouse with quarter the price and ten times the functionality...

Great product. Love the granularity of control in the application. Obviously there’s a bit of bleed between the various functions but overall a very expressive controller

After a couple years fairly constant use my battery it worn down such that it only lasts about 20 minutes before needing a charge, so I am also looking to replace it myself, could someone please give me a link to the EXACT replacement battery to buy and any pointers they have for doing the task? In the specs it says "Li-ion 65 mAh", but after opening it up I see it's an arc shaped battery with "GREPOW YE2514246 3.7V 60mAh 0.222Wh" written on the underside, I could really use help finding such a specific battery!

Loving the ring, works so well.

I had a hard time setting the device up; apparently it has a hard time connecting with Windows. I had to download a utility on my phone to connect and install the firmware update. Once that was done, the device and software work great.Once it's working, this device really does feel magical. It is intuitive and straight-forward. I think it'll take some practice to really master expression, but the potential is really huge. Once I get the hang of it, I'm definitely getting another one - the software supports up to two, and that just sounds like a lot of fun.

Wave lets me incorporate my character into my creations. I love performing with it, and I feel like it brings my performances to the next level. It works flawlessly; setting it up was easy, the latency is low, and the battery lasts hours. I'm still amazed and always finding new ways for Wave to inspire me!
