A REVIEW KNEE BRACESTo the “Nay Sayers” please don’t steal someone else’s chance of relief by leaving such reviews as “don’t waste your money” or “they don’t work” . Give them a try it can’t hurt, If they don’t help you then return within 30 days. Not everything works for everyone. If one thing worked the same for everyone then why do we sell multiple pain reliever, multiple brands of muscle rub, multiple brands of shoes or multiple knee brace? Let people try them and then decide for themselves. The reviews in my mind are to praise good quality and to call out manufacturing that is subpar or defective, for reporting side effects or even your experience but don’t assume that what didn’t help you won’t help anyone. That’s highly prejudicial and you can’t say for sure either way if it would help anyone else. For those of us who have dealt with knee or joint pain, this may be the only thing left to try. You’re comments could disparage them for trying. Maybe they are looking to get enough relief until they can have surgery, or lose weight, maybe they need help to make it through an important event like walking a daughter down the aisle. Who knows, maybe nothing has worked, maybe they’ve had injections, meds, physical therapy or braces but their pain is worse, so they are desperately searching for a new option. Who are we to say “it won’t help”. We simply don’t know. But from a psychological perspective you’re making them doubt the point of even trying or planting seeds of doubt so they don’t give it a fair shot. After all let’s remember why we love that it’s Amazon Prime and we have 30 days to return after trying it everyday if you like. I don’t work for Amazon or the brace company. I’m just a person who suffers with chronic pain and I'm also a Registered Nurse who thinks that we all have the ability to sometimes make our own miracles based solely on faith or desperation. May work for others, did not work for me.
I expected the springs to be a stronger. It was stiff and would not work for me. Quality seems good. I could not see it working when my knees swell up so I returned them.

Don’t put extra weight on your back a won’t help at all
Item does what is made for other then that I work construction and all the gear I use on me is about 85 lbd. To 90 lbs fully loaded plus my weight those little spring started to wined but other then that for use at home walking at the park or any other activity that doesn’t have to extra weights on you the item is pretty much a damn good item

Not appropriate for skiing/snowboarding or similar
Bought this for skiing comfort and stress relief on legs and knees. The product is reasonably well made and could have theoretically had potential. The problem is in the weak resistance. The resistance increases as you bend your knees. Up to 45 degrees, the resistance is very weak. The resistance increases after that. My estimate is the maximum resistance is about 10 pounds per leg and occurs at about 135 degrees bend (almost sitting down). This makes it not useful for skiing/snow boarding or similar where the resistance needs to start at about 25 degrees. Other than that it attaches to the legs fine but can be distracting to some people. I am returning these.

Know your own strengths
Tried them when I received them and put them back in the box. Now after a second review, I see the value in being able to stand up out of a chair hands free. The quality is there now its up to you to let it do its job. Get up and get going.

Poor design, not effective at supporting knee(s)
The straps are too far apart resulting in the spring moving away from the back of the knee. They do not stay in place and really do not provide any support. There is no bounce to the spring. Uncomfortable to run with and cause more challenges than help. I will be returning.

Good idea, not well designed.
I have to return these. I could definitely feel the additional boost and feel the concept is good but the design is lacking structure and I couldn’t keep it positioned properly. It needs additional time in r&d. I wore them against my skin initially and again outside my jeans and neither fit well. It isn’t a genuinely supportive device because nothing keeps it centered. It is possible someone else will have better results. Bonus; the kit comes with additional replacement parts
