Way better & louder sound than I expected! SO CHEAP & GOOD!! Very little base, but loud & clear!
Worked right away - so simple, sounds much better than expected! I'm driving with a AK-380 Stereo Amp (cheapest possible thing you can buy) & repeating songs from an SD card / USB device. Plugged in power, plugged in speakers & wow! Works right away!!!Sounds MUCH better than I expected for the cheapest device pretty much on amazon. It's so loud with 1 PA horn pointing away from me at 1m away (in a garage), it's too loud to turn up over 25%. And I can still totally understand the words of the songs. Being able to boost bass (or treble) is huge. This speaker seems to lose base, but turning up the base all of the way helps. Still not punchy base mind you, but better! Very simple & cheap setup. The whole setup about 0.18A at volume = 0%. About 0.4A at 25% with 1 horn. REALLY happy. Exactly what I wanted!!

Good
Hook up to the positive and negative in your door speakers, mount it to the roof or under the rear windshield. 10x clearer and louder audio. No bass though. But I’m here to play loud music on a budget.

Tuff Little Speaker!!!
So I bought this speaker to use as a PA on my truck. I picked this one mainly because it was fairly cheap with decent wattage and it's an "outdoor speaker" but the durability of it impressed me quite a bit. I have this hooked up to a cheap little Midland CB and it's pretty loud, the only inconspicuous place i could find to mount it was on my frame behind my left front tire. I forgot about it being right behind my tire (also facing towards my tire) when I decided to play in some mud yesterday. I realized today that I had flung a ***** load of mud straight into my PA and went outside to take a look at the damage, to my horror it was fully packed with mud (I have 4wd so the front tire flung quite a bit of mud with decent force). I was pretty sure I would be buying a new PA but after I scrapped out all of the mud I tested it and it's loud as ever and working just fine! If you plan on putting a PA on your car I would definitely recommend this one. (I do put a grocery bag over it when it rains, I think flinging water straight into it would most likely damage it) but if it's not right behind a tire I'm pretty sure it'll be fine in any condition. If I do eventually brake this speaker, I'll definitely be buying the same one to replace it.

Not the best for automotive use
Don't bother using this for automotive use with your CB's PA System unless your CB's output is 50 watts or you are hooking an amp up to it. If you have a lower wattage radio one of the smaller horns that come complete with wire and plug is better than this one. Plus due to it's bigger size it was hard to mount under the hood. Also it does not come with any wire so I had to go to Radio Shack and make a wire and plug. Second, I hit a puddle and this thing barely got wet and stopped working and took about 3 weeks to dry out and start working again.
