Works perfectly, EVA pad is great.It seems unfortunate that other reviewers appear to have received used products - ours was clearly brand new. The other reviewer who said it didn't work well ... um, is the workman blaming his tools? See pics of this exact board in action.You can pay 100s of dollars for high-performance "trick" skim boards. This is not that. It is tons of fun in the beach wash.

Absolutely the best skimboard for an 11 year old. My son used this all summer on the weekends and it has held up excellent and should work for next year too. We've seen many kids this summer struggle with smaller ones. Indecently, make sure your beach allows these. You can't use these in Fenwick, DE or Ocean City, MD when the life guards are out. My son has had to do skimboarding before 10am and after 5:30pm to avoid the life guards kicking him off the beach.

My first review didn’t go through....this came scratched and dented INSIDE the box so it was Shipped in poor condition!!!

My son loved it, but we haven't used it yet. Too cold to swim now. Great pattern for feet to maintain hold.

Don’t buy this item. It’s terrible. Mine broke on the 1st day using it. The wood on the bottom was all peeling off. Definitely looks cool and grip is good, and it skims too, but it’s not durable AT ALL. Don’t buy it. I’m warning you.
