Why not more pages in the preview?

I am frustrated that there are not more pages in the preview. If I were shopping in a store I could see if this is an appropriate book for my reader. But with the cover and the back I have no idea if it is too advanced. The title implies it may be early reading with CVC words. That is what I am looking for but who knows. Do the authors read these comments? This lack of preview or limited preview is true for many of the children's books and it means that I don't even consider it for buying. sorry.
