Pictures don't match description. What is included, what is listed or what is pictured?

The kit includes what is pictures which is more than what is listed. Be prepared though to look up part numbers as the packing list is only in Chinese. So far everything I have tried has worked most in importantly the Uno.

Does this kit include any manual or project guide?

This kit does not include any manual or project guide. A list of parts in the kit is included, but it is not in english.

My 15 yr old is into sound, motors and magnets and wants to take over the world. Is this the best kit out there?

I would definitely recommend the Arduino starter set if he is new to circuits and programming, as this kit has no instructions or examples (and is quite light on data sheets as well). This product is a good addition to that kit once he masters it.
