Point Blank
Another great FBI thriller with two intertwining investigations for Savich and Sherlock to solve. Coulter at the top of her game..

A great read.
The first chapter or two of the book was a little obscure for me and I almost put it down. But I persevered and read the rest of the story. It was a great read. There were twists and turns completely unexpected. As usual the characters Ms. Coulter created walked out of the pages into my head and became reality for the duration of the read. Ms. Coulter has chosen a genre, created a grand series of books of which I have read several, and now will go back and read them all. I heartily recommend this book and any others Catherine Coulter writes to all readers.

Don't bother
This book (and I started out loving the FBI series) was pathetic. I couldn't finish it-and I really tried. The characters were so fake, the dialogue stilted, and the story was ridiculous-the entire FBI couldnt find an old man who was a murderer even though he was hiding in a hotel room and they were right outside? That's the kind of lazy writing that made me so regretful that I had wasted time and money on this book.

So bad on so many levels
Read almost every book in the series it so disappointing. The ending is flat and it seems that they threw a dart at all the characters and picked the one there was no surprise at all. The sheriff promised his children he would solve the mystery and the bad guy would end up in jail which didn’t happen. It all seemed hurried at the end it’s like we’ve written required words we only have so many words left so bong bam boom we are done. It was so bad that I am finished with Sherlock and crew.being Bam boom this is how it ends very disappointed I don’t know that I would purchase any other book in the series it’s sad really because I didn’t joy them.

I love the FBI series and have read everyone of them
I love the FBI series and have read everyone of them, they were well written and I enjoyed the stories and how the characters interacted with each other. Can't wait to read more of them.Special Agent Ruth Warnecki is on a treasure hunt in western Virginia in a cave Winkel's cave more like, a trail to the stolen Confederate gold has lead her here, what she did not count was to is to find her self deep in a murder, that almost leaves her dead and this will rock the town of Maestro to the core.At a stakeout in Maryland, FBI agents Dillon Savich and Dane Carver are almost killed in a horrific explosion while attempting to rescue a kidnap victim, Pinky Womack. They are led to Arlington National Cemetery, where they not only find Pinky, but Savich also takes a fateful call on his cell from an old man out to kill both him and Sherlock. Both stories are well writen and part of each other.

Nonstop action served up Coulter style!
In keeping with each of the previous novels in the FBI Thriller Series, Catherine serves up sizable portions of thought provoking twists and turns. Special Agents Savich and Sherlock team up with the local sheriff of a small quiet community to solve a perplexing murder of a student. As the body count rises, can they piece this puzzle together before there are more needless deaths? To discover the answer grab a copy, sit back, and while reading this, try to relax... if you can!

Not my Favorite
The main characters were fine but the villains this time were pretty tedious with too much dialogue. I usually enjoy the FBI series but this particular one won’t be a favorite

Another great one
Talk about crazy criminals! That crazy old man and his crazy sidekick, crazy girl were totally coo-coo! They really didn’t need to blowup the Bonhomie Club...good thing justice prevailed...and let’s hope that Dix and Ruth finally get it together.

Nice read
Really enjoyed this book but left some questions. So everything wasn’t tied up nicely. Brought in other characters from precious books but you didn’t have to have read those to get the story.

Love this book!
This was so well written I couldn’t bear to put it down. If you enjoy FBI mysteries I am confident you will like this book. It has all the ingredients to keep you interested until you reach the end and I admit I was a little surprised at the way it ended.

Multiple story lines but it works!
The author again has our intrepid FBI agents working at least two cases at the same time, yet you are able to follow both stories. Dastardly young villains leave you wondering "how could they have gone SO bad at such a young age?" and unknown perpetrators in another case have you guessing who will turn out to be the culprit. The reader is highly motivated to keep turning the pages in order to find out what is going to happen next. Savich and Sherlock are not the main players, but their skills are useful in helping to solve these cases. Highly recommend, especially for those who are following the FBI series by this author!

Another excellent story
I have always enjoyed Catherine Coulter's books ,( Plus she spells her name correctly, same as mine!). They are entertaining mystery/stories of love and respect without being offensive. Awe sometimes a bit sexist, but who's counting?

Fast paced with lots of action
I really enjoyed this book and the characters. With two different scenarios going on in two separate locations, but including all the main characters, it was never slow or boring. A satisfying ending. I will read more by this author.
