would this work to rim the glass for a margarita?

I have never done that but if you know how to use regular sugar to rim a glass then i believe this should work also.

This product is made from sugar. Sugar is made from cane - a type of grass. I guess that makes it vegan. The dye used to color it comes from vegetable sources I would think since all colors that I can think of do.
