My Grandson 6 years old had loads of fun with this project. The alligator clips were a bit slippery within the rubber covers, but we managed.

Works perfectly.

There are 2 safety hazards.1 if you have the batteries in the battery holder and you use the motor with the red on it and you connect the black wire then connect the red wire it sparks.2 if you have the batteries in the battery holder then put the red and black wires together they turn red and burn each other.

So fun! My husband and son expend a lot time building and enjoying time together!

Not a bad selection of items, but, at least, two of the battery packs were defective. The "insulated" wires started to melt where they crossed and began to smoke. Not a good result when used in a classroom setting.
