We’ve tried tons of car porta potty methods for long road trips or when in a city with no restrooms. As two women we can’t just jump out of the car and go. Used this for the first time the other day and it was so much easier. Tip: fill the bag partially with kitty litter and get blackout shades for all your windows

Years (and I mean 40 years) later I see this.Have it in the car just in case.... Put an absorbent pad in it. yes, it has a plastic bag for disposal.Wish I'd had it all those years ago.bet it would be great for those "Momma, I gotta go NOW" while on the road.

Product too small to fit an adult and I’m a small framed women. It is more for a small child/toddler and very cheaply made. The latches probably would have broken after very few uses. Not a product I would recommend to anyone

Add photo?...some can't handle that one! Lol!...Ok, there's a lot of pluses to using this, but there's definitely a down side. This product is certainly not for the squeemish. You have to stay calm and not be in a hurry. On the up side, it's very convenient and frees you up from being dependant on someone else to provide you with a toilet. It can also lower your risk of COVID 19 by allowing you to avoid busy public bathrooms. It's great for small boats, I bought this for my kayak. In the winter you don't want to jump in the water, plus this allows you to stay out all day if you want. Fishing cultures have always had things like this. Now for the down side. For one thing, the bags that come with it are pretty flimsy. I bought some toilet liners that are a lot more durable. They come with an absorbent gel pad and they are great for making sure no liquid escapes. It's best to dispose of the bag right after use if possible. If you can't do that you can use an airtight container of some kind. I would recommend getting rid of it by the end of the day. Also, I wouldn't leave the bag inside the bowl because odors will get imbedded in the plastic. Then everytime you open it up it will be brutal! Carpet cleaners and dog kennel deodorizers are best if you need to remove odor.I would also recommend some prep time, it takes a bit to install the gasket that holds the bag in place. You need to do that in advance and don't wait till you're desperate. Keep It ready to go. I found that using this toilet is the easy part, it's wiping your bottom that is the real challenge. You can't raise up on one cheek because it would tilt and spill. You have to go through some real contortions to get the job done, all while not spilling anything in the process. You really have to bring your "A" game!...had to! sorry. lol! Seriously though, you can't panic or be a sissy about it. That could lead to disaster. It would be smart to practice ahead of time so you know what works best for you. On a kayak, raising up on your knees to wipe helps a lot. In a car, pulling your garments all the way down to your ankles gives your knees a lot of mobility, plus you're not fumbling to get them back up....It does however, present privacy problems. Keep in mind the bathroom privacy customs that western civilization feels are absolutely imperative were made up before microscopes were invented. No one knew what really caused disease. It would be easy to confuse activities involving public nakedness with sickness and death because they often involve an exchange of body fluids....this may have given rise to the prudish world we live in today. The Romans had no privacy whatsoever and they did just fine without it for a thousand years. Biblical figures knew Roman social customs, not the European ones we have today. No one felt their dignity was being lost, and there was no need for shame or ridicule. Everybody had a mature way of looking at the human body. Sounds nice. There's a handful of cultures around the world that are still that way today....that being said, challenging deeply held social customs is risky business. The same people that threw Galileo in jail for saying the planets revolve around the Sun will be trying to hunt you down for not following their outdated social customs. You figure out how you want to handle that part. If there's one improvement I would like to see, it would be a curved seat. The seat is flat and not very comfortable. A curved one would be a lot better. All and all, there's a lot to using to this, but it's the best thing out there when you need it. Good luck!

The plastic side locks break off and the rubber thing that holds the bag in place is too big doesn’t fit.
