Most features cannot be used without the app. That's fine but I was unaware that you have to register your info and you have to have location services turned on in order to use it. It feels like a bit intrusive, why do they need to know my location? Face tracking isn't great, you can adjust the settings in accordance to slow/fast tracking but with face tracking turned on, it starts taking random pictures of you while you're moving around. Gestures feature sets timed photos when you put a peace sign gesture; however it often doesn't catch the gesture and by the time it does, you've lost the shot position you were ready to take. Also drains your phone battery pretty quickly. While the idea of this is cool, it just isn't functional, so for that and for privacy reasons I will be returning.

Not a bad unit. Very easy to operate and handles my iPhone 11 Pro Max just fine. Only thing is that you need to use it with it's app. It will not let me use the gimbal on its own.

I've been looking for a gimbal for a while, I made a lot of research and finally I found this chosen one! This gimbal is really amazing. the structure is solid and beautiful. The controls are easy to use and the app have all the tutorials explaining how to use every function and feature. Has a really good image stability system and the battery is really good as well.

The gimbal is only $69 as compare to my $300 from the other manufacture. The unit is light weight and easy to carry.It comes with the base that is detachable for easy storage. I can control the phone right from the build in buttons on the gimbal. It is cool

Happy with this gimbal great way to shoot video using your cell but just be careful when updating. Follow the instructions precisely and if it still bricks keep trying until the firmware is properly installed. Sometimes it takes 2-3 attempts.

I bought this product for video taking for multiple family events especially for my baby growing journey. I used to use DJING which is more expensive than Hohem iSteady X, but iSteady X has almost the same function and less expensive. The stabilizing system really makes things easier. The control system and battery work great as well. Overall, it matches all needs for me!

Good product ,easy to use , value for money stability good be little better, few flays in preset modes...for beginners it's a good product for practice..

Not for iPhone 12 max pro. I wanted to use it on my phone but iPhone 12 Pro Max is too heavy for this. It can’t keep it stable.
