Fashioncraft Shimmering Angel Ornament, 1

December 18, 2015: I bought this angel 4 years ago (according to my review below) and just bought 2 more. I recently found out that an old friend (yet young woman) passed away and left two young daughters behind. I wanted to send something to them for Christmas and thought of this beautiful angel that I bought years ago. They arrived today, beautifully packaged, in a lovely little box, just as I remember it. For the price, I think it's a wonderful gift, high quality, heavy and beautiful. Along with a book with the story of the waterbug and the dragonfly, helping to explain how our loved ones can continue to look over us from Heaven (look it up online - it's a tearjerker) I'm hoping this will be a comforting gift for these beautiful little girls on their first Christmas without their beautiful mother!December 28, 2011: I've been buying my sister an angel ornament every year at Christmas for the last 20+ years. She still enjoys receiving them, so it's always a challenge to find something new and unique. This little angel is beautiful, nice quality, and very unique. It's somewhat heavy and comes in it's own little gift box. I removed it from the gift box though and attached with ribbon to another present - very pretty! And my sister thought so too!

I purchased this ornament for my great aunt who has many angel ornaments on her tree. I wanted to get her something small and personal for Christmas so I thought it would be a good idea to add my own angel to her tree! This ornament is as pretty as in the picture and was well made. It is a little heavy, but as long as you find a sturdier tree branch, it will hang with no problem. It is also packaged nicely so all I had to do was wrap it! The materials it is made out of look like it should be more expensive than it is, so don't let the low price deter you! I would definitely consider buying this again for someone who I would like to get something nice for while staying on a tight budget.

Every year my job does an ornament exchange/grab bag. Its not an expensive exchange and so everyone is always looking for something unique for the amount. This is universally pleasing to the eye and classy for a work event. does not look too childish as some ornaments do, while still keeping the festive holiday charm. It also comes in a very nice gift box which shows what it inside w/the transparent front. If someone even wished to re-gift this, it will already be in a great box and easy for them to wrap and re give!

I did not like the way the ribbon was tied, and redoing it left it wrinkled, so I just removed it altogether.This will be a gift as part of a bereavement basket, the theme being the loved one's leaving us for heaven.It came in a nice little box with a ribbon and a "for you" tag. The back of the box was a bit concave, but it looks OK.I don't think the angel is flimsy at all, and it can be used as an ornament just about anywhere someone would want to hang an ornament, not just on a tree.

My mom's birthday is in late November and every year I give her a single, unique Christmas ornament to either hang on the tree or use in one of the creative displays around the house. She loved it!

I needed to give several people a special gift this year and finally settled on these angels. They are beautiful, packaged nicely for gifting and I'm sure will be enjoyed by the recipients. Due to their size these can be placed on a Christmas tree or hung with the ribbon on a hook from the ceiling. Quite nice!

This beautiful angel is for my sister an brother-in-law for their tree. I tryed for the past few years to send them something beautiful an I couldn’t resist this Angel. So well made. Beautiful color on the dress and wings. Lovely ribbon also. I hope she loves it.
