The media could not be loaded.  I have noticed a trend with flashlights over the last several months. Many of the flashlights coming onto the market are more than just a simple flashlight. I have seen some that can charge smartphones and I have seen others that are car emergency kits as well. This is the first one that I have seen that includes a built-in multi-tool, but it also has a glass hammer and belt cutter. This is a real utility flashlight and it works better than I could have hoped.It's an odd-looking flashlight, almost like someone took half of a Swiss army knife and half of a flashlight and fused them together in the middle. The color scheme is black, chrome and red and the whole thing is very striking. Looks are just cosmetic, of course, but this flashlight looks good if a little strange in shape.The end of the flashlight away from the light contains an assortment of tools – tiny screwdrivers, scissors, hex wrench with two sizes, a bottle opener and of course a small blade. These are all very useful and are good to have at your disposal when there is an emergency.There are two tools included with this light that are useful for when you have an emergency involving a vehicle. There is a glass hammer on the handle that opens with the flick of a button and is the right tool for breaking a glass window when trapped, and there is also a belt cutter to free yourself from a seat belt. The glass hammer is on the side of the handle instead of on the end; this is not ideal placement, but this is a trade-off to make room for the other tools.The flashlight portion has three operating modes: very bright, bright, and strobe. I have worked with flashlights that are a lot brighter but this one is bright enough for most purposes. The strobe is a fast blink, faster than any other I have used, and it is very good for drawing attention. The lens telescopes so you can get a very bright beam that is tight and compact or you can diffuse the light for dimmer but much wider coverage.This is a very interesting flashlight, different than most I have used in that it includes a multi-tool in the handle. It is a bright light, it works well and the tools are a big bonus. This is a really great multi-tool because it is easy to carry and effective for small tasks. I find myself using this tool a lot. I use the scissors to cut paper when ever I am out and need to cut out labels. I mostly use the knife to open boxes. The flashlight comes in handy a lot though it is not that bright, but it will be bright enough to help you move around. The quality of it seems to be sturdy and has not been damage as i have dropped it twice. The writing on it has faded away, but that is nothing big. This is a really awesome multi tool that everyone should have in their car for emergencies. I purchased this to have in my car for emergencies because it has the ability to break glass, cut seat belts, be a flashlight in an emergency, in addition to various other multi-tool features. The tool feels very well made, heavy, and durable. The price is low enough to make this a great gift to any family member to have the peace of mind of a multi tool and their car are in case of an emergency.
