SalernoButter Cookies - 2 Pack (16 oz Each)

I bought these for my late dad. He bragged about these cookies when he was young. He loved them as well as I.

It was the picture of the cookie ring around the finger on the box that won me over - $25 for 2 lbs! Hey- it was Christmas and I had been looking all over for these Old School cookies for my husband. They are really good - just like we remembered. We weren’t disappointed.Probably won’t purchase them again until another special occasion - did I mention $25 for 2 pounds!! (They are packaged nicely- not one was broken)

My fondest memory is eating these cookies with my grandmother before she died. The only think I miss is that the cookies are "butter-flavored" but that isn't a deal breaker.

So happy to have found these online. I was disappointed that the expiration date was only 2 months from purchase date but other than that these were a great treat. You cannot find these outside of the Chicago area. It was a treat to have back a childhood memory and they haven't changed.

Both boxes had cookies that were broken in many pieces!!

My husband loved these cookies as a little boy and then for many years we couldn't find them. Then one day a light went on...hey, you can find anything on Amazon. And sure enough, there they were, even the brand he had always loved. When he runs out, we order more.

Fortunately, Salerno Cookies I have been searching for, for many years showed up on Amazon! I was so pleased, I ordered 2 boxes and they tasted like the quality of the old days!!! It’s nice to know their qualities remain top shelf!
