i am writing an updated review. when i first used the permanent match, it was easy to use and worked effectively. when i tried to adjust the wick, the match striker came out and lost it in the grass. word to the wise. be careful when you adjust the wick and do so on a table. of course, this doesn't help if you are camping. but make sure you have a good hold of the striker when adjusting the wick.i contacted the seller to get replacement striker parts. he answered me quickly and sent me a whole new permanent match replacement which was way above and beyond what i had expected! more than generous and i was truly appreciative.i still stand by my first review that they seller should include extra striker parts with their product. they are small and can get easily lost for a clumsy person like me. other than that, it is a very good product and would recommend. i do have one design suggestion. not sure how this will work but to make the striker a permanent part versus removable. i know it will affect being able to adjust the wick or put in a new wick but just a thought.

BUYER BEWARE: how are you charging $16 for this?? This thing is absolutely junk! The flint FLEW out on the first strike. And it leaks from the tip, defeats the purpose of the key chain aspect, this thing is a safety hazard and should be delisted and reworked! I would never rely on this for survival better off smacking some rocks together. Absolutely unacceptable. Wish I would’ve read the reviews before hand, seems to happen quite a bit.

I have ordered similar survival match products from this seller before. It is delivered fast and has good instructions on how to use. You will need to purchase your own lighter fluid but it is really cheap at Walmart. It was like $2 for a bottle of fluid that i don't think i would ever run out of. I love the style of this survival match lighter. It makes a great gift as well. The bullet look gets a lot of complements from my outdoors friends. Overall great permanent match for survival/ hiking/ outdoors/ emergency preparedness.

I love the overall quality, it is manufactured to the highest of quality. I didn't mean to be redundant lol. It takes a little while to get the right technique to get it to spark, once You Do Whoa boy watch out. My biggest problem is The Cap Came unscrewed somewhere and have not been able to find. 😭😥😢😓😟

This product is SO COOL! I gave it to my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it, he carries it on his key chain all the time because it's small enough to carry. But it works, we went camping this weekend and he used it to start the fire right there, just as easy as a match but it's reusable. Super helpful if you like to camp and be outdoors.

I got my permanent match in the mail. The packaging was nice and minimal and did not have too much waste. The bullet shaped match had a very nice branding to match the other products made my by survive.This gift is the perfect Father’s Day gift, stocking stuffer, emergency preparedness tool, and all around awesome keychain lighter.I would highly recommend all people considering this product to get one now.
