The crawford is built with a hint of stretch for comfort when you're working, and features double fronts with cleanout bottoms to accommodate kneepads. Made from 8-ounce, 98 percent cotton/2 percent spandex canvas it offers rugged flex technology for ease of movement, is mid-rise so it sits slightly below the waist and is slightly fitted through the hip and thigh, has a contoured waistband that prevents gapping in the back, utility pockets and loop, has double-front construction with cleanout bottom, straight leg with an 18 inch

As Expected! Wonderful work pant!
My boyfriend owns a pair of these in the male version obviously and they have lasted him YEARS! So, when I needed work pants for some home remodeling these were an obvious choice. I previously tried these pants on in a store to know the correct sizing, but the store didn't have the black color in stock. I have a slightly more athletic build so the thighs are a bit tighter and the waist a tad loose. I have to wear a belt with them although that isn't an issue as I typically wear a belt with work pants. I am a bit disappointed that they don't offer them in the khaki color, but the black looks good as well. They came on time with no issues with packaging. So honestly, I got what I wanted and expected!I would highly recommend these as a work pant. The double panel on the front just makes them feel very sturdy. The pockets are well thought out and placed. They stretch enough as you move, but not so much that they are loose at the end of the day. I've washed them a couple of times with some heavy use and the fit hasn't changed at all and the fabric has even gotten a bit softer.

Womens pants that actually fit My new favorite work pants!
For the past nine years I have worn Dickie's pants for women. I operate two coffee shops so comfortable durable pants with extra pockets are essential. Dickie's pants were never consistent in size and the color faded after a few washings. I was hestitant at first to buy the Carhartt as the price was a little higher. However, I love these pants! They are extremely comfortable and the color is actually black. They are a little longer and the waste fits with no gaps. I did find they run a little larger than expected. I did order a second pair in smaller size and they are still a little big. I usually don't dry my pants but I did dry these to see if they would shrink a little. They did shrink but the 8's are still a little big. These are my new favorit work pants!

Great fit, thinner material than I'm used to in a work pant
I am a female forester and it is difficult to find good-fitting tough pants to wear in the woods. I've worn Women's Carhartt pants in various styles for years, so I thought I'd give these a try. The fit is excellent for me. I am 5'6" and 160 lbs. The size 8 regular are perfect. No gaping in the waist, the butt fits good, inseam is appropriate, and the leg openings will fit easily over my logger boots. The fabric is a little different than I'm used to in a pair of work pants. It is fairly thin, with a little bit of stretch to it but with the double fronts, I think they'll be tough enough for days when I encounter less briars. Plus, they'll be a little cooler than some of my thicker pants for our hot, humid E NC summers. (Note: I also purchased the Carhartt Women's Relaxed Fit Double Front Kane Dungaree in the same size and color for the same price here on Amazon. They had a horrendous fit...basically men's pants... but were a much thicker denim fabric.)

Length and fit are great, durability is abysmal
Loved the tall version of these double front pants. Am 5’9, and loved finding work pants that are long enough to fit over steel toe boots that are comfortable. Unfortunately, after the very first wash, found a seam rip right at the seat. It hasn’t ripped all the way through, but I would not trust that the pants can last a squat at the construction site. These are comfortably loose on me, so it’s not even a matter of over-stretching, it’s just bad quality stitching. Am frustrated that these only lasted one wash.Cannot recommend

Good pants, comfy, run large
These are comfortable and seem pretty sturdy (haven't done too much in them yet though). Overall I like them and have been wearing them regularly. However, as a warning, they do definitely run big which I think is a carhartt thing in general. I'm normally a size 2 (25" waist 36" hips) and these are just big enough on me that they look kind of stupid. I bought some cheap button pins so I could adjust the waist tighter and they're still a bit loose but they work fine now. Not a huge deal, but it still would have been nice to have a size of carhartt pants that actually fit me (I believe 2 is the smallest they offer?). Another minor complaint is that the women's version doesn't have the little metal things which idek what those are for but they make the pants look cooler so I wish they had them lol.

Not really for work
I used to buy their wb136 double fronts (discontinued), which fit like these. So the fit is nice and that part is great, but the material is very very thin. It is not denim/canvas/twill for work pants material. More like slacks, cooler for summer I guess. I suspect I will wear through these quickly (my old style ones have lasted several years). I have a farm and woodlot so my clothes have to be durable to last! Also bought a pair of the Kane dungarees, odd fit, very spacious in the legs and large at the waist but the material is sturdy and heck, I can wear a belt.

Original dbl front pants
They were a bit larger than the ones I ordered from carhartt.com , but nothing a belt can’t fix

Perfect fit!
I’m 5’7” and 185lbs. I got a size 14 regular and they fit perfectly! I prefer a tall in pants but the regular seems long enough. They just touch the floor (they won’t drag in the mud which is nice). These pants are very comfortable. They are a lighter and softer material. I don’t know how they will hold up on the job but they look and feel great, which is half the battle.

These fit large
Being 5'2", 120-130lbs, these pants fit large. Size down. I purchased a size 2 and they fit nicely, however, they are such cheap material comparative to men's Carhartt work pants... for the same price. I purchased two, the black (which faded into a charcoal grey after a couple of washes in COLD water) and dark brown. Both of which tore in the crotch area.
