DJI Osmo Universal Mount

GeneralI purchased this to use in conjunction with my DJI straight arm to attach a microphone and LED light to our DJI Osmo we use for our videos.Packaging:It comes packaged in a size appropriate box and is held securely inside the box with a neoprene-like type material. This thing will not get damaged by being handled roughly by the UPS guy.Pros:Very sturdy product like the straight arm. It is metal, not cheap plastic. It will last longer than I will ever have the camera. You have multiple mounts to put more than one cold shoe. The mounts are held in place with machine screws.Cons:The directions were small and hard to readRecommendations:Quality product. I would purchase more if the need arises and recommend to any of my friends.

Excellent ability for me to use my Osmo and mount it to a ball head tripod that I already own. But the other great part is because it has two cold shoe mounts I can not only mount a very small light but also a small boom mic that I can use to record someone with while I am walking around filming. Great idea and also completely CNC machined so very sturdy of an item.

Simply a must have for the DJI OSMO. It's all metal and is simple. Only down side is how you'll need the extension arm as well to use this piece with a better external mic. Also that's all I use it for.

Used my dji for a long work event in a dim lit ballroom. Totally made a huge different to be able to add a light.

Excellent accessory mount for my DJI Osmo! This is an oem mount. I use this mount for an adjustable led light panel. I find the build quality/fit and finish excellent on this product (as we have all come to expect from DJI products). I would recommend this mount to anyone looking to add a light or auxiliary mic to their Osmo

Well made and performs exactly as expected. The box is VERY small, so take care if you are purchasing this along with other items that are larger (it's easy to miss in a large box).

Not quite as easy as I expected to attach to my tripod as the screw threads are not compatible. With a bit of juggling round with bits in my tool kit I have now attached it to my tripod and it works well.

If you have an Osmo, you'll need one of these. The perfect addition to a great product.

Good value product

Brilliant quality, essential to have for osmo

This is a very common problem and is also well known. The fact that no solution has been proposed by the company to fix it is not acceptable.In order to mount this product you have to be able to unscrew the cap on the side of the osmo. Unfortunately this cap does not unscrew. Having read through many forms and watch many YouTube videos I found out that this is a very common problem. People have recommended many ways to unscrew this cap to mount this but many of the times in fact the majority of the time the cap is destroyed to some degree while doing this. Since this cap cannot be removed I cannot Mount this products and subsequently I cannot install my external mic and mounted.
