This battery was exactly like the bad battery I removed from my MacBook Air. Never installed one before but the instructions and tools made it easy to install. Just took my time and kept screws in order. It fixed the overheating and sluggishness of computer. A+ so far.

Avoid this product
Spent five hours installing it and it wouldn't take a charge. I've done three of these before just fine, so I doubt I'm the problem. I suggest you just don't try. The manufacture was horrible about giving a refund too so I finally gave up.

Don't try on your own!
My advice with this is if you have no experience changing an Apple battery, do not try this on your own!! Honestly this is very delicate and time consuming and i ended up having to go into an Apple approved repair shop to get them to fix how I installed it. that being said, the battery itself DOES work and it is still working very well over a year later. I just wanted to mention that if you're doing this to save a buck, don't do it! Unless you know how or have oodles of patience!!

Not really a job for the average guy
The instructions are not adequate to explain the method of getting the battery out from under the keyboard strap, and I broke it. Once I got a new keyboard cable, I had a professional change the battery and he felt with this particular MacBook Air the average owner shouldn't attempt this operation.Other than that, the battery is fine and works well.

Exactly what I needed. A bit more expensive than other vendors but next day delivery! Saved my life with all tools prepared and step by step instructions.

Not chargeable!!
Took me 1 hour to change battery, have to say all the equipments you need are in the box, instruction is clear.But the new battery is not charging, the battery sign shows faulty, after one hour I unplugged the charging cable my macbook goes power off immediately.Waste of time, Not recommend!

Particulars
The kit came neatly organized. The instruction pictures were clear. I couldn't give it 5 because some of the particulars, don't tell you, for example, if the connector slides off or pops off. Instructions doesn’t assume the person repairing, has no prior knowledge of MacBook Air. Since there's no such book called, "MacBook for Dummies," the remedy to this might be, particular information possibly found at, ifixit.com
