Okay
I got this but then read about liquorice raising heart rate and so haven't dared try it.It seems fine and a good source if you are going to use liquorice but not for me.

Liquorice taste lasts
I really don't know what made me order this. I like a bit of thyme in some dishes and I enjoy the odd liquorice sweets but this is an odd mix. So I tried it in a glass of water which I didn't enjoy and I couldn't wait to finish it. So I didn't go back to it for a few days until now when I started my review. To give it another chance I gave the pipette a squeeze under my tongue. Oddly enough it wasn't as bad as it was when I diluted it in water. I must say though that the liquorice does linger in your mouth for 5 minutes whereas the thyme fades faster. I don't think it's something I'll be taking regularly but should I get a sore throat I will test it on that.

Great for people with respiratory issues
The media could not be loaded. My husband always during winter time he gets the flu and eventually he has respiratory issues.Doctor suggested to take a natural thyme syrup. We tried other brands before but the taste wasn't as good. The flavor of this is sweet and not bitter. My husband prefers to drink it by its own. Also, the thyme overpowers the licorice.

Not too sure about this one ...
Having severe COPD I was quite keen to give this Thyme and Liquorice tincture a try, although I had no idea what to expect. It is supplied in a 100ml dark amber glass bottle with integrated dropper. Thyme and Liquorice are both well known supplements and are often used in supplements aimed at coughs, congestion and other lung and chest problems. The recommended dosage of this tincture is to take between 20 and 40 drops up to three times a day. 20 drops works out at one pipette (1 ml) full and it can be taken by directly depositing the drops under your tongue or adding them to a small glass of cold or warm water.I decided to go the 'under the tongue' route which was a big mistake as it tasted disgusting. I love the taste of liquorice and expected this tincture to have some resemblance to it but all I could really taste was the thyme which overpowered any other flavour. I like to use thyme in cooking for a subtle background flavour but this was too pungent for my liking. So I went on to take further doses in a glass of warm water ... this was a much better prospect and the tincture became almost palatable.I've been taking this supplement for around a month (morning and night) and although I haven't really noticed any improvement in my lung capacity, I have found that congestion has lessened and any phlegm had loosened noticeably. Plus I haven't had a cold or chest infection since I started taking this supplement. The Winter months will be a good testing ground as to how well this supplement works so we will have to see.I hope you found my review helpful.

Unique natural flavour - Great with some honey in hot water.
When I initially received this I had anticipated a taste close to a licorice sweet, But it has no resemblance at all in taste. The taste in hot water is kind of mild - not sweet and not bitter. I have taken this once a day in hot water, the dropper is really great for measuring out a correct serving, one squeeze equals one drop, and the full dropper is about the 20 drop suggested single serving so preparing a drink with this wont take long. I checked out some information on licorice and thyme extract and found that for throat and respiratory benefits, pure and natural honey is typically recommended in chinese remedys. Licorice is apparently a great for maximising the health benefits of other supplements and ingredients, and also should have a positive effect on mood - Though I I read that its not recommended for people with heart problems or high blood pressure, at least for daily intakes. Personally I have enjoyed drinking cups prepared with this extract - with added honey its been a great hot drink in the evenings shortly before bed. Id recommend anyone looking into thyme licorice as a remedy or immune system booster to take a short bit of time checking particulars out on the internet, There is a lot of potential recipes for helping with specific needs.

Soothing on my throat, strong taste of thyme
I must be honest, I wasn’t sure what the benefits of taking this herbal extract would be but I’m willing to try anything and I love licorice as a flavour. The thyme is quite over-powering, however, it’s the flavour of licorice that lingers ad sort f coats your throat like a cough syrup or herbal sweet.I don’t dislike this and I can quite happily shot a pipette amount straight into my mouth but if you prefer a more mild flavour, you can dilute it.I’ve been suffering from throat infections for 6 months and I found this very soothing and helpful, so I’ll definitely be continuing to use this bottle. My only negative is the pipette itself – it doesn’t suck the liquid up particularly well.
