Leak proof so far.
I think it meaures accurately. It has last 2 or 3 years and the plastic still has not cracked. I love that you can take the top out to empty it and the other piece stays in the ground. It's a great size.

Nice rain gauge.
This is a really convenient rain gauge because if you have it in the ground, it's easy to pull up the actual gauge to see how much rain is in the gauge. I had one for years before it finally cracked, probably because I left it outside for yours and think the winters finally cracked the plastic.

Reasonable price for a rain guage
I’m give it this a 4 due to the reasonable pricing and ease of reading (and hopefully the durability compared to glass).. I’d give it a 5, but I question the accuracy of rainfall measured. Why? I’ve compared it to 3 others rain gauges I have in close proximity. Before someone comments; telling me I get what I paid for; or buy a real Weather gauge. Precise accuracy isn’t what I wanted, I just want to track how much precipitation we get to maintain our yard. This said; I don’t know if it’s the square shape or markings, but it always shows me less than the others three gauges?? Yes; evern with accuracy differences, I would buy it again!

Nice . Easy to use
Just like it says! Exactly like the old one we had that had become cracked and cloudy.

Works well
Same as old one it cracked after about eight years

Just so so
I am unable to keep this level when in the group for accurate measurements. Anything that touches it will move it - too light weight.
