I bought this to hold a flagpole to use as an extension for my Starlink antenna. It works well so far. I did use some rope to tie the pole to the hitch to keep the pole from rotating. When I get home I will weld a nut to the side of the holder over a hole. I will insert a bolt to put force on the flag pole to keep it from rotating. They might want to add this feature in the future.

For mounting an antenna mast it was large enough, and with a brick on it stood tall.

If it’s windy the stand will sway back and forthI had to wrap a towel around my flag pole so it wouldn’t scratch my car.

To close to car and or trailer needs to be a foot longer.

Took this to Beach N Jeeps for first use…man, did I get a ton of attention. Everyone was asking where I got it, how high, etc. keep in mind that this was both the flagpole base as well as the 25’ telescoping flagpole.Anyway, did drive into it with sand underneath…not very recommended. Seemed to pull the cylinder toward my fender. Drove off of it, sandwiched the base between a couple of 2x6’s, stuck the tire on it, and worked beautifully! Nice and sturdy, and the flags sailed all day, even in beach winds. I’m sure next beach run I’ll be seeing more of these.

A little light for support of a 16ft ham radio antenna mast to support a 2meter/70cm J pole antenna, but was able to function during the Tour De Gap bike race!

Nice powder coat. Other than that, it's pretty much junk. The plate is way too narrow and thin to provide any support. Although they say it is for a 20' flagpole, anything over 5 foot will probably bend or break it. The tubing is too small for the mounting cup and the very shallow threads do not engage. Twist it all the way down and it continues to turn, bouncing out of the threads. But they do provide a big rubber band around the tubing to take up the slack. Both the tubing and the mounting cup are of very thin material (like electrical conduit), providing almost no structural integrity. There is no tightening screw, so if your mast/flagpole is smaller than the tubing, there is no way to tighten it up. Don't waste your time or money. This went back into the box for return within an hour of receipt.
