I was wary of purchasing this since it said the country of origin was Australia, and therefore would possibly not play in my DVD player (since I am in the US). But, after all the positive reviews from the US, I decided to give it a try. I bought this specifically for Catch a Christmas Star because it's my son and I's favorite holiday movie and I wanted a more permanent copy (rather than just streaming).It came in today and I looked at the case and sure enough, it says Region 4 (Europe/Australia) and my heart sank. But I didn't give up hope just yet. Online I read something that said the VLC media player in a PC bypasses region and acts as a region-free player. So, I popped it into my computer's DVD drive (yes, older computer) and I already use VLC so I started it up, navigated to playing the DVD and it played with no issues. Then I checked our regular Blu-ray/DVD player and it also played with no issues!!! I watched it all the way through (and was surprised that there were scenes not seen when you watch it streaming from the Hallmark Channel).I am very happy with my purchase and I absolutely LOVED the movie and its additional scenes (that get cut for brevity and making room for commercials on network TV). Oh, and each movie in the 3 set pack is on its own DVD. And, as others have said, there are no closed captioning or subtitles (or any other features) on the DVD, just the ability to play the movie. But, I know all the words by heart anyway, so it's not a big deal to me.

My husband and I love Christmas movies. We recently watched One Starry Christmas twice on Tubi because it didn't have the usual plot that most Christmas movies do. It had a different take on the boy-meets-girl. In order to get that movie, I had to order the Hallmark Christmas 3 Film Collection. We just got the set today, so we have not watched the other movies but look forward to viewing these new-to-us extras.

I am so happy I ordered this DVD. I ordered it for One Starry Christmas and I am so glad I did. There were three scenes that were not in the movie shown on TV. The quality is wonderful as well. I am so very happy with my purchase.

Word of Caution: watch all movies before too much time goes by! First DVD set didn't work. If you are giving this as a gift, make sure to open it and watch all movies ahead of time.So I ordered this dvd set, opened it and played the movies...pretty much once I got it. Well, one of the discs kept freezing midday and skipping chapters, with no scratches on the disc set whatsoever.I was perplexed by this and very upset and requested a new one. It took some time but they sent me a replacement and that one worked fine on all 3 movies. I am very happy that the replacement went smooth. Other than that, very happy! Love the movie set.
