this lighter is advertised for people with arthritis but its not easy to use...still need grip strength many people dont have.

This is definitely not a "torch," and I will quote some of other's comments that I agree with and should have noted: "weak flame, and one had to "click" the handle at least 5 times before it lights each time. I had it turned all the way up for flame height or strength,,,,,,,,, Very poor and just junk." / "Takes multiple squeezes to make it light and when it does light the slightest breeze blows it out. Garbage." / "The flame, on the highest setting, with a full tank, was so small it would blow itself out with the slightest movement of the wand. What absolute pieces of garbage." The flame blows out with the slightest move and then it will not ignite. The worst part is that they will not accept a return according to the seller by Amazon's policy because of its contents. The kicker is that if they can send it to me then Why can't I send it back to them....???Update on Seller 6/4/2021I contacted Amazon regarding the non-refund issue and the seller was courteous enough to issue a refund in lieu of the negative review. I will not remove the review regarding the product as it still stands, but the seller has met the expectations of a good seller. Unfortunately, this product they are selling is not worth acquiring a bad reputation since the manufacturer is the one responsible for producing such junk backed by a reputable name. If I may suggest that the seller drop this particular item from their line of sales. If the seller has other products to sell I would venture to buy from them again.

I never knew they made this type of lighter before and with my arthritis it’s perfect. I can squeeze the handle easily enough and the fire doesn’t go out while I’m lighting about eight candles in my home. Great purchase just wish there was more colors to choose from.

Works well for our aging parishioners with hand control issues.

These light up fast and the flame is steady and strong for quickly lighting candles.
