Dollar Tree Birthday Candles, 80 Count, Spiral Pastels

I actually bought these candles for a miniature menorah for Hanukkah, not for birthday celebrations. They are exactly what you'd expect in the way of birthday candles, but the colors are quite beautiful and true in person (the picture doesn't really capture it well). They are sturdy, not the kind that are so soft they actually start to melt/soften in your hand. As such, they hold up well to being pushed and maneuvered into a menorah (so imagine how easy they'd be to handle in a cake, etc!) without breaking or bending. Also, because it is quality wax, any wax that drips is very easily removed once it is cooled without living much residue.

They were okay, adequate, but not amazing. I needed a bunch for birthday bags for a service project, and they worked!

These candles are easy to light. We were celebrating 70th birthdays and lighting 71 candles. They were easy to light, burned while we made our wishes and blew out easily. Dripping was minimal.

Just what I expected. And lit very easily.

Omg I was expecting to receive my birthday candles at the very earliest by 5pm today nope 10:50 yay now I'm excited for my other birthday supplies to arrive.

Plenty of candles for the price but kind of cheaply made.

Seriously!!! I ordered the 80 count but got a 60 count. WTF am I to do at a 71 year old's birthday party with only 60 candles????? Really disappointed by this order. Not enough time to make this right.

These are so cheap that I bought both kinds (brights and pastels) so I can match the cake or put favorite colors on.
