4 ft. Short Double Cross Shoji Screen - Black - 3 Panels

Needed short privacy screen and this one did the trick. Well made. I got the black finish and it looks great. Very sturdy when expanded. Leaves in light but provides privacy when sitting. I use in front of large patio door on patio or on other side of door in kitchen. The 48 inch is perfect. I have the 3 panels which works great. Very easy to move and manipulate into different positions. Highly recommend

It's actually beautiful in the white color (the true white finish matches the white rice paper exactly), and it's sturdy and not warped. I received it in excellent condition. If I need another divider screen in future, I will purchase this one again in a heartbeat.

The screen is attractive, and what I expected. Using it to cover my desk/office area. The only disappointment is that one of the panels is not pulled tightly and so there is a wave/wrinkle in it. (upper right) Not important enough for me to go to the trouble of re-packaging, returning, and waiting for another one to become available.

Arrived early, packed very well. Nice shipping. It was dusty when it came out of the box but that's easily fixed. I got the 3 panel black one, which is a good choice for a modern/contemporary home. It looks exactly like the picture. We recently moved to a new place that doesn't have a kitchen door, so we're using this to keep the cat out of the kitchen. As noted in the description, the design is only on the front. Plain paper on the back. I like that it's only 4ft. tall, so it doesn't block off the entire kitchen area - you can still see the kitchen over it. The panels can be arranged in any position you want thanks to the double hinges. It's not terribly sturdy... it stands upright and does the job without any indication that it's going to tip over on its own, but if you have young children or big dogs in the house, a jab in the wrong place could easily tear it or bring it crashing down.Edit: We are using it as a kitchen 'door', and since we constantly go in and out of the kitchen, it is getting very annoying to balance this thing each time we go in or out. I wish it was heavier. Now I'm looking for some way to anchor two panels down so that we're only moving the third one back and forth, and the whole thing doesn't have to be re-balanced every time we use it.

Don't pay attention to the criticsl reviews. They obviously don't know what they ordered. These are perfect to conceal insightly corners in small spaces. YES, they ARE real wood, and well-finished. They seem much more expensive than they are. Yes, they are MEANT to be lightweight to be portable. They're not supposed to be brick and mortar against dogs and kids. If Amazon allows I'll post before and after pix so you can see the difference in covering a corner of my tiny kitchen where the dog's stuff is kept. By the way, don't make my mistake. Remember to get a divider that is a foot higher than what you're concealing. I forgot that from a distance you'll be able to see over them unless they are a foot taller. I originally got the 3-foot size but learned my error and got these. I can use the others elsewhere but these are perfect. I got the Rosewood 4-panel version and it looks surprisingly upscale. Highly recommended.

I work from home, and my computer desk is in my living room, so I purchased this to get a little separation with the living area, and I bought this to try it.First of all, it's a good height so it feels like the computer equipment, desk, etc., is all behind it so you don't see it, but it's still part of the room. It's nice and clean looking, so it doesn't distract, if not add to the room. It's nice enough where I'm thinking of doing the same thing in a different part of the room.

I got this to provide some privacy for a window where it'd be unusually difficult to install curtains or blinds. The finish color is a lovely very-slightly-reddish brown. There were no blemishes on it, and it provides the right amount of privacy screening that I sought. Very happy with it.
