Can you change the snooze time intervals? I know default is usually 9 minutes... I like 1 minute

I don't know if you can change them, but this clock does diminishing snooze times. 9 minutes...7 minutes... down to either 1 or 2 minutes.

How does it compare to the sonic bomb alarm clock?

Bellman & Symfon is highly rated...Sonic Bomb is good but Bellman is even better. Don't think we've ever had a return on a Bellman product. Don MyHearGear

The bed shaker does not have to be plugged in. I don't know about batteries. It was given as a gift.
